Different chicken recipes.?

My husband loves chicken but i dont want to make the same thing over and over. Does anyone have delicious chicken recipes?Different chicken recipes.?
i saw him do this on tv, then the recipe popped up in one of my magazines. unfortunately i threw out the magazine, but couldn't stop thinking about it. looked it up online and made it last week. it's SO good!!!! you can use any kind of chicken you want (whole chicken-cut up, thighs, drumsticks, breasts, etc. - whatever you like best)





Gordon Ramsay's Sticky Lemon Chicken





1 large chicken, cut into 8 to 10 pieces


Sea salt and black pepper


3 to 4 tablespoons olive oil


1 head of garlic, halved horizontally


Few thyme sprigs


Splash of sherry vinegar


2 tablespoons dark soy sauce


3 tablespoons honey


1 lemon, finely sliced (ideally with a mandoline)


Bunch of Italian parsley, chopped





Season the chicken with salt and pepper and heat the olive oil in a large saut茅 pan. Brown the chicken pieces (in batches if necessary) over high heat with the garlic and thyme for 2 to 3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Return all the chicken to the pan, add the sherry vinegar, and bubble until reduced by half. Drizzle over the soy sauce and honey and shake the pan to mix.





Pour in a good splash of hot water and add the lemon slices. Let the liquid bubble and reduce down until syrupy, which will take about 10 minutes or so. By now the chicken should be cooked through.





Transfer the chicken to a platter and sprinkle over the chopped parsley.Different chicken recipes.?
Chicken:- Apricot


1陆 c. Apricot preserves or jam


1 cup Russian dressing


1 Envelope dry onion soup mix


6 Chicken breasts


1 tsp Pepper.


Mix together the preserves, dressing and soup mix.


Place chicken in bottom of slow cooker; pour mixture over chicken.


Cover; cook on High for 1 hour.


Reduce heat to low and continue cooking for 3-4 hours


This could also be done on low heat on the range.





Chicken:- Curry.


5 lbs. Thighs or whole chicken


1/8 c. salt


1 tsp. black pepper


2 tbsp. sugar


2 tbsp. curry powder


1/2 can (6 oz.) coconut milk


2 tbsp. chopped onion


1 tsp. chopped garlic


2 lbs. potatoes (reg. or sweet)


2 tbsp. oil


Cut chicken into square chunks of 2 inches and marinate with salt, sugar and pepper. Cut potatoes into chunks smaller than chicken. Deep-fry potatoes in hot oil about 5 minutes.


Pour about 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan, wait 1 minute for oil to get hot. Put onion in and stir fry about a minute less (DO NOT OVERDO).


Add garlic and chicken at the same time and saut茅 chicken for 10 minutes. Add curry powder and continue saut茅ing for another 10 minutes. Then pour everything into a pot. Add water enough to cover mixture. Cook 15 minutes at medium-low heat. Cook another 10 minutes after adding potatoes.


Finally, pour coconut milk in and mix well. Remove from heat. Serve hot with French bread.
I make this alot and its inexpensive and good





4 boneless skinless chicken breasts


2 box's instant chicken flavored stuffing


1 8 oz shredded cheddar cheese


1 bottle of italian dressing





prepare stuffing according to box. In a casserole dish place chicken breast - season with a little pepper/onion/garlic


pour 1/2 the dressing over the chicken and then cover with stuffing mix. Pour the rest of the dressing over stuffing and cover with cheese. Bake uncovered for about 1 hour at 350.





If you notice the cheese getting to dark - cover with aluminum foil
My favorite rub:


2 t salt; 1 t paprika; 1/2 t onion powder; 1/2 t thyme; 1 t black pepper; 1/4 to 1/2 t cayenne pepper; 1/2 t garlic powder.





Rub on before baking or grilling, or on a rotisserie.








My favorite bake-in sauce:


1 c brown sugar; 2/3 c vinegar; 1/4 c Sprite or 7Up; 3T minced garlic, 2 T soy sauce; 1 t black pepper.


Pour over chicken %26amp; bake as usual, or else put in crock pot.





One more, just bake the chicken in a hot oven, in equal parts soy sauce %26amp; water--a great flavor! Good on wings for appetizers, too.
Honey BBQ Chicken Breast





Halve 3 chicken breasts


Sprinkle with salt %26amp; black pepper to taste


BROIL chicken breasts 5 minutes





COMBINE:


1 tablespoon honey


1 tablespoon spicy brown mustard


1 clove garlic minced


1 cup BBQ sauce





Place all ingredients in crockpot and cook on LOW for 4-5 hours. (closer to 4)
so easy - good comfort food


1 chicken, cooked and boned (or buy a rotisserie and just tear the chicken off..much easier!)


12 corn tortillas


1 can (8 oz.) chopped green chilies


1 can cream of mushroom soup


1 can cream of chicken soup


1 pound Grated Cheddar Cheese


Preparation Tear chicken into pieces (do not have to be bite size). Tear tortillas into pieces. Drain the chilies.





Mix all ingredients together, place in 9x13 pan, and cover pan. Cook at 350 degrees for 1 hour.





also - I have used these chicken receipes from Kraft.com - they have so many available and you can read the notes from other people who've tried it to see if they liked it or not and what they did to tweak the receipe, but these are a few I've tried and liked

I've made this several times. I use dry, toasted breadcrumbs rather than the cereal and it's still great.





EASY PORK CHOP or Chicken BAKE:





Ingredients


8 boneless skinless chicken breast or center cut pork chops


1/2 cup melted butter


3/4 cup parmesan cheese


3/4 cup cornflake crumbs


1 (1 ounce) package hidden valley ranch dressing mix





Directions





1 Mix cheese, cornflake crumbs and dressing together.


2 Dip meat in butter and then coat with crumb mixture.


3 Place on greased cookie sheet and bake at 350 for 45 minutes for chicken, or 35 minutes for porkchops, or until center is cooked through and no pink remains.
EZ No Marinade Lemon Chicken:





Place chicken under broiler for 5 minutes to brown. turn down oven to 350. Place browned chicken in a glass (non reactive) baking dish. Squeeze some fresh lemon juice, drizzle with olive oil, salt and pepper to taste, fresh oregeno and rosemary, bake covered for 15 minutes, uncover to recrisp skin for another 5 minutes, remove let rest and enjoy.
This is one I like.


Cut 2 chicken breasts in half.


In an oven proof dish, put in 1 cup of sour cream.


Add:


1 tsp worchestshire sauce


juice of one lemon


1/2 tsp. garlic salt (or you can add a minced garlic clove and 1/2 tsp salt)


Cover and bake in the oven about 45 min. In the last 15 min, take the lid off so the sour cream browns a bit.


I like this served over rice.
Easy Lower fat Chicken Cordon Bleu


Season boneless breast of chicken with onion and garlic powder, salt and pepper. Lightly brown in a small amount of oil. When almost cooked through place one or two slices of deli ham on top. HEat a minute or two more and then top with one slice of swiss cheese. Continue heating until cheese is melted.
