Quick chicken curry recipe?

I want to make my own chicken curry at home. I plan to buy a roasted chicken at the store, anyone have recipe ideas?

Thanks!Quick chicken curry recipe?
oh yeah! Sounds good, you might have inspired me for tonight!

I Would cut the chicken up into parts and throw it in a big pot. Cover it with one of those curry spice packets. I find the Thai ones are really really good, doesn't matter which one, green, red, yellow, just depends on how hot you like it, read the packaging and make sure you buy in it in the ethnic food aisle. Then throw in whatever chopped veggies you have or like, seriously, ANY veggies work in this (maybe not letuce or cucumbers...) last pour on a can of coconut milk. Now you go have a bath or read a book, whatever you like. This can cook for as long as want, or just until the veggies are tender. SOOO good!Quick chicken curry recipe?

2 Onions, cut into 6 wedges

3 cloves Garlic, shredded

1 tbsp hot curry powder,

2 green chillies, finely chopped

1/2 tsp Paprika

2 tsp Cumin seeds

1 tsp ground Cinnamon,

4 x 180g Chicken breast

2 Tomatoes, chopped

1 tbsp tomato pur茅e

25 ml water,

75ml coconut cream, tinned

1 lime, grated zest and juice

coarse salt and freshly ground black pepper

Method 1. Heat the oil in a large pan over a moderate heat, add the onion and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.

2. Add the garlic, curry powder, chilli, paprika, cumin seeds and cinnamon, and cook for a further 2 minutes, until fragrant, stirring continuously.

3. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper and add to the same pan. Stir well to ensure the chicken is well coated with the spices.

4. Add the tomatoes, tomato puree and water, and cook over a high heat for 3-4 minutes.

5. Pour over the coconut milk and simmer for a further 2 to 3 minutes.

6. Stir in the lemon zest and add enough lemon juice to sharpen. Serve with boiled rice.
When I curry chicken it's usually an uncooked chicken

Season chicken pieces with chives, onion, garlic, black pepper, salt

In hot skillet add 1 tablespoon oil

Add 1- 2 tablespoon(s) curry mix w/ 1/2 cup water

When oil is hot pour curry mixture in oil and fry for 1 minute

Pour chicken in skillet stir and simmer until chicken gets tender

Since you 're buying a roasted chicken you might want to cut the chicken in pieces and omit the salt and pepper.
Ingredients:

Chicken, cut into small pieces

Red Chilli powder - 1 tsp

Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp

yogurt - 1 tbsp

Pepper powder - 1 tsp

Lemon juice - 2 tsp

Oil - 1 tbsp

Salt to taste

Mix the lemon juice with red chilli powder, salt, ginger garlic paste and yogurt and rub it to the chicken pieces and leave it to marinate for atleast 2 hours.

Heat oil in a pan. Now add the chicken pieces and the pepper powder. Cover and cook. Make sure the chicken does not stick to the bottom of the pan. Add a little water if required. Cook until the chicken is cooked.

Sprinkle some pepper powder on top and serve hot.

for a roasted chicken I'm sure just use that in place of the chicken breast halves, you will probably want to peice it if its whole.
